Mere finished up some food then flew. Pere moved about a bit then settled in over the eaglets.

Pere made himself useful in fixing things at the nest bow;

Moved a stick about - in the process uncovering/disturbing the eaglets

As can be seen!

4:48 pm - Pere didn't like where that one stick was so moved it over on top of the pile of food

5:12 pm - Pere is up and it looks like he is going to feed a fish to the chicks...not sure how hungry they are though. Looks like BB1 is there but not grabbing for the food

How cute! BB1 has his wing over BB2 with a little hug....

5:14 pm - that moment did not last long...BB1 just grabbed BB2's head

Oh and I was just thinking I haven't seen a PS by either of the eaglets and BB1 just did one

And now maybe BB1 is ready to eat

5:19 pm - It doesn't seem like BB2 is interested in eating...seems more sleepy....I know he kind of got hit in the head by the back of BB1's head as his head jerked back while eating....hoping he didn't get hurt but he's kind of just laying there

A couple minutes later BB2 is now up and alert but Pere is feeding only BB1 at this point

BB2 tried to grab a piece here but didn't quite get it

5:24 pm - Pere is done with the feeding...BB2 may have gotten a couple small bites but 99% went to BB1.

5:40 pm - Pere is watching something...thought it was Mere....and although Mere did land Pere put out his wings for protections as I guess someone else was flying too close...I don't think it was another eagle because there were no vocals from either adult. More than likely it was a smaller bird.

Pere still watching that other someone after Mere was on the nest

And now wings out

5:42 pm - Mere picks up a fish off the nest as Pere gets up and flies off

Mere begins a feeding....can't tell for sure but thinking this is BB1

5:47 pm - another bit for BB1....I think BB1 is standing overtop of BB2 holding him/her down

5:50 pm - Feeding is done

6:01 pm - I am going to log into the cams for a look around

6:07 pm - found an adult on this pole by the water....could be Pere

[SueB]

6:10 pm - the adult on the pole flew off....first going to the right...turned back to the left...then back to the right before heading toward the nest area....I did not hear Mere vocalize so I am assuming this was Pere....lost him as he quickly flew passed the nest and the cam froze so I was not able to follow him any further.

6:18 pm - Pere came to the nest...not sure if he brought anything in with him as I had the one cam off the nest

He moved that one stick then seemed to go off onto the lower north perch

I logged off the cams at this point because they were not responding for me.

6:21 pm - Mere was trying to do a feeding but neither chick seemed interested...instead lots of head grabbing and bonking until BB2 went down

6:31 pm - Mere ate some fish and some duck while the chicks rested...then decided to try to feed one of them and they did get quite a few bites. Not sure which chick this was though
