Looks like continued thunderstorms around the nest tree area. Maybe the Pritchetts decided to keep cam 3 shut down to protect it from these storms!
I know we are all watching for the next live views and/or photos of Harriet & M15! It has been exciting to be able to see them
during this summer so early! Many thanks to the Pritchett's for those opportunities we have had to see them so far on cam 3!
Thank you Vicki for posting your wonderful videos of H & M during this summer, too, and we all look forward to seeing more!

The Nest Area Looks Inviting~Nestoration Time Is Getting Closer 08-23-18

I visited the nest area this am but unfortunately Harriet & M15 were not in view while I was there. In the summer months, the adults are not there every day as there are no eaglets to care for. We will see them more when they start doing 'nestorations' (preparing the nest with new crib rails and nest bowl) in late September. The nest and surrounding area was quiet and looking good, as always.

I captured a scap from Vicki's video this morning that shows that "Cam 3 lens has been removed".
So...at least we know, now, why cam 3 is not currently streaming video online! With all of the thunderstorms
happening in the area lately, the Pritchetts decided to remove the protective bulb & lens so it doesn't get damaged!
(Better safe than sorry!)

8/24/18 - Good Friday Afternoon Everyone!

(8/23/18) - A beautiful nest tree awaits Harriet & M15 to start bringing new sticks to build up their nest
for their new eaglets arrival later this year...or early next year!

Harriet & M15 won't have to fly very far to get sticks for their Season 7 nest!

Hello everyone!
Now that we know that the Cam 3 lens has been removed for the time being, I will be checking daily to see when Cam 3 is
back online...and I will report any nest activity, here, as long as this Season 6 thread is still active.
So... In the mean time, we will have Vicki's videos to look forward to when she visits the nest tree area and posts her videos here...
until this Season 6 thread closes.
Season 7 is just around the corner...and Mary will open up the Season 7 thread when all of the intro posts are completed and when
Cam 3 get's back online.
