I completely missed that, Gail!...thanks. Maybe perched on the far side of the branch?

I don't see it now, but there is a breeze and the branches are moving around...

That perch can be deceiving. I think the eagle moves up and down and sometimes seems to be gone but if you look closely he is there and seems to come back into focus. It must be a really nice perch as it seems to be a fave spot. I wonder if you will be able to see it looking back from the gazebo?

Good thought! I'll take the ipad and try for a few shots...I sometimes wonder if they are perching to the right of the lone tree, but way down in the leafy trees along the bank...

Dad has not given up yet! it's funny how they realize that the zip ties are not part of the tree or nature.

6:30pm - Thanks for the zoom, Yolande. I really enjoyed it. I have to go also and get a few things organized before tomorrow.

Goodnight all! See you again tomorrow at the nest :)

Even the chicks seem to clue into that, don't they?!

This bundle of branches at the bottom of the nest by the tree trunk looks a bit 'loose' but maybe that's the cam angle?

Got to go ... :) :bye 1:

SPTZ is on the nest and I am off the cam...

She went to the rails and is looking all around...perhaps for Dad?
Untitled 15320.jpg
It looked as if she was choking? swallowed a bug or something...and was shaking her head. I saw some spray from her beak...

Shortly after...Dad came to the nest...but I'll have to roll back the cam to be sure...

Yes, it was the female who brought the fish...

She took it to the rails and started eating...

Then Dad arrived...
