Irish Eyes, if you have access to Facebook, go to Eagles of Hays PA facebook page. He has a lot of new pics of the Hays family taken from the trail. Some really nice ones of H8.

Thank you, Irish Eyes. I've been looking for some info on the Hays family. We've had some pretty hot humid weather the past week so maybe the trail watchers were taking a break. It seems a little early for H8 to disperse, compared to the others but H8 was special. I guess this next phase is good for him, sad for us. He sure will be missed.

It appears that Mom and Dad Hays are building another nest for the new season. Check out "Eagles of Hays PA" facebook page for updates. He says it is approximately 100 yards away from the old nest in the sycamore tree. This new nest is deeper in the trees and harder to see from the trail. No word yet on if or when the camera will be moved.

Thanks so much Wish for letting us know .. I am not surprised .. I remember when they build that nest in a week or so after their nest blew down while Mom was incubating their first egg !wsh16 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 12:12 pmSunday, 10/28/18
