11:50am - Latest PTZ Report: Rain has begun, no eagles were seen at perches around the pasture areas nor across the road at yonder pond.

Great idea! I always enjoy the ones with E10 & E11 together. There are some darling pics of them in the nest, even when they were older.

Journi or others are welcome to make any clever comments about what they are thinking . . . I would enjoy it.

PTZ Report: 7:29pm - Adult flew off the tree low toward the pond at Yonder Pond.
8:00pm - No Eagles were seen in the area tonight.

Journi... Thank you for your warm welcome! I hope to keep up here over the summer. Vicki's video from yesterday was awesome! M shared and saved the tail for Harriet! Their bond and his devotion to her... we should all be so lucky! Grand news here... I have an adult bald eagle that visits my back yard. It showed up just before E9 left us last year. Truly a gift I believe. I have seen it 19 times and not since January 20th. Well today I had an early morning visit. Not for long though. Crow in tow on the way in and crow in tow on the way out! Got some great pics but love the warning calls! Everyone have a great evening and day tomorrow!

4:54am Good Morning! No eagles were seen in the area last night.

Looks like an adult perched in the tree behind the shopping center at 6:44am.

Eagle left tree on other side of shopping Center around 7am. Looks like adult on "Mom's Tree". Other adult eagle joined them at 7:05am.

NEST ACTIVITY - FRIDAY MAY 18th

There are two eagles on Mom's Tree (one behind the other). While it might look like an osprey because of the light on the chest, it isn't. Viewed it fly in. The lighting is what may throw the ID off. Makes the chest look lighter than it really is.

Not sure of the time, one adult left Mom's Tree and flew to what looks like another tree across Yonder Pond. They appeared to be eating on the branch.

Both adult eagles are still perched in two different trees at Yonder Pond at 7:46am.

PTZ Report: 8:49 adult from 'Mom's Tree" flew behind the tree where the other adult is still perched.

PTZ Report: 9:55am Adult eagle on tree to the west of moms tree just flew off toward the east. Two adults soaring together above Yonder Pond area and flew toward the west pasture.

PTZ Report: 12:42p No eagles were seen at YP or in pasture areas (cam1). There is a Great Egret on the pasture pond, it missed a fish.

PTZ Report: 6:50p No Eagles have been seen in the area since this morning.

PTZ Report: 8:13 Cam panned the area and no Eagles were seen.

At last report, no Eagles seen last night. Harriet and M15 could be in the west pasture or at Yonder pond this morning.

PTZ Report: 8:20 Adult perched in the tall slash pine to the right of"'Mom's Tree" at Yonder Pond.

PTZ Report: 9:40a. No eagle seen on the slash pine next to Mom's tree.

At 9:44a looked like possibly an eagle flying west behind the shopping center and continuing west out of sight.

PTZ Report: 10.21a An adult is perched on the tree to right of mom's tree at yonder pond and appears to be eating.

PTZ Report: 12:33p An adult is perched in the tree behind the grocery store at yonder pond.

Ptz Report: 2:50p Both adults now perched on the tree across the parking lot at the shopping center.

PTZ Report: 4:45p Rain in the area. No Eagles were seen.

PTZ Report: 5:30p It's still raining, no eagles were seen at yonder pond perches or in the pasture areas (cam1).

WPBEgal, that is wonderful you can see an Eagle in your own backyard. What a special experience!

No Eagles seen at the end of the evening yesterday.

Light morning rain. Both adults perched on tree in back of shopping center at 8:23am.

8:38am One adult left the tree behind parking lot.

Other adult eagle left the tree behind the grocery store and flew to the area at Yonder Pond in back of the houses. 9:01am.

Cam1 is now live!

9:20 Cam 1 panned the area and no Eagles were found.

10:08 Now the crows are the target of the grackles.

10:12 cam view of the trees ate Yonder Pond. No Eagles seen.

10:48 Adult found on tree behind the shopping center.

11:20 Rain has begun

11:21 large dark bird on a lower branch and then hops to a branch behind the Adult at 11:22. Not sure if a juvenile or a vulture.

11:47a Adult flies off the tree toward YP and is found on Mom's tree.

12:25 Adult drops to a lower branch out of sight.

12:47 large bird on the snag behind the center may be a vulture

7:15p Cam 1 panned the area and no Eagles were found.

8:05 log in for a last look.

8:21 H to the nest with a large branch. up to the veranda and vocal.

8:22 M flies to the attic and drops to the nest to move the branch.

8:23 H to the attic M working on the nest.

8:24 Crows diving at H.

8:26 H hops out farther on the attic.

8:27 M to the attic via the veranda. Out farther picking on another branch.

8:30 M hops to the other side of H on the very outer attic.

8:31 M breaks a dead branch off the outer attic. H is just looking at him.

M is trying to figure how to get it to the nest.

8:33 branch fell off the attic.

8:36 both preening on the outer attic.
