Kenai Eagle Cam.. 2018

Hi Kenai Eagles, Bev, and all Kenai Eagle Watchers! I am not sure if there is a PIP or not but I'm seeing an odd spot on one of the eggs.

1:13 pm - both eggs are shown in this s'cap and there's a piece of straw across both eggs but under that on the right egg it looks like a mark.

1:22 pm - the male got up again and here's the egg with that mark on it again.

1:35 pm - as I was getting ready to post I noticed that the male was up again showing us the eggs and now it looks like both eggs have marks on them. I've also seen that Dad has some dirty feed so maybe that is what caused these marks.

I'm going to keep an eye on both eggs to see if anything changes.

Good Afternoon Kenai Eagles, Bev, and all other Kenai Eagle Watchers!
12:28 pm - Mom Kenai got up off the eggs to stretch her wing and gave us a good view of the eggs. I do not see a pip on either egg.

9:00 am this morning it looks like Dad Kenai was taking a break and gave us a full view of the eggs. I don't see any markings on either egg at this time.

Hi Sue ......Just saw your post !

It is my understanding that eagle eggs can hatch anytime from Day 35 to Day 40 and some times and this is the exception on Day 41..

Good Morning Kenai Eagle Watchers! This is day 39 for egg #1, and 36 for egg #2. I just happened to pull up the cam when Mom Kenai was taking a break.

5:00 am - I'm not sure if this is just a piece of grass on this one egg but something to keep an eye on. Mom is now back to incubating the eggs.

Baby born!!!!! I don’t know how to scap. Pip last night and she’s all out now. Yay!!! You can see it at 6:00 am (local cam time) in DVR.
