Journi, ( Eagle Tim) thanks for video, it was very interesting. Look at those wings! Love the sounds and beak clicking the owl made. Don't tell Harriet, but I thought the owl and it's cute tail were adorable! Just wish they would find some other birdy to bug instead of the eagles.

Peggy, Journi and lovinnature. Glad you enjoyed the video.
My sincere regrets to Eagle Tim for failing to give you all the credit for this great capture. Thanks, Journi, for correcting that.
I seem to recall reading something about the nest belonging to the R.T. Hawk, with the owl in the role of squatter.

Yum !! A cup of hot chocolate with melting marshmallows is perfect for any day the temperature is COLD!
We have jumped from 1 degree at 6am to 22 degrees at noon.
These are my eagles about one mile from where I live. They don't mind this cold weather at all. Both are in Mom's favorite buckeye tree near the nest. This is their nest in a tall oak tree along the Mahoning River.

Suemac, the eagles are beautiful ! Thanks for sharing.
In regard's to the giant eagle, I posted it for Purpleagle to see. I didn't think it was real. But she said it was. I agree some trick photography may have been used too. But we agreed, that we both would love to see that in our front yards! Like they say: everything is bigger in Texas ?
** Journi Thanks, I enjoy sharing, We can jump off the eagle wagon here
** Thank You MaryF

Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
In this afternoon's SWFLEC chat session the mods mentioned "our" (not mine, their) new vocabulary word, by which I assume they meant horaltic. My curiosity piqued, I snooped around and came up with the following discussion.
https://groups.google.com/g/sci.lang/c/8U3VmVLDKP0
To follow the argument, it's necessary to click on the contributor's name, click it again to close, before clicking the next name. You can leave the first name open and just click on the next, but you'll soon have the entire lot yelling at the same time. Neater to open, read, close, and open the next. Simpler yet is to forget the whole thing and find something else to do.
