Again alert vocals from M. Harriet and E, are looking.

E finally tucked head under mom, and goes back to sleep. Harriet still watches.
12:47 am

No drama. M is safe in attic. Everybirdy goes back to resting.

Round three. Harriet's turn this time. Alert vocals from M also. Both EEs sleep through this time.

This was pretty much the pattern last night. All was calm and safe, in the end.

1034 E20 kept moving away from E19, but E19 kept following.
So.....E20 KICKS E19 with a right foot

1034 Guess who didn't like that? BONK! E19 gets E20.

1120 E sticking neck up high over nest rail. M has been watching

1120 M to nest- "That's far enough kids" E19 is up high on rail

1121 M digs a stick out of the nest bole and places it on EEs. (The stick rules!)

1123 M to the other side of the nest and E19 follows. Good job Dad! M goes back to attic.

1128 M flies off attic

1138 Harriet to nest and the restless EEs. Harriet begins to feed E19 fish

1144 Harriet continues to feed E19, E20 waits on the side

1150 E20's turn!!

1155 Feeding done. E19 in front of Harriet and E20 behind E19 in the shade of Harriet's mombrella.

1229-1250 Peace and quiet on the nest.

Hello everyone. I visited the nest this morning.

M Brings A Fish~The E's Eat Well. H Secures The Area. Pasture Birds Abound 01.14.22

M15 flew from the area early this morning. The E's slept while Harriet watched their territory and did a quick perimeter check flying across the road & back to the nest tree. M15 delivered a live fish and fed the E's. We saw the E's eating, eagerly grabbing the fish bites through the rails. The cool and light wind morning saw many birds besides the jays, doves and crows visiting the pasture: Great Blue Heron, Red-shouldered Hawk, Loggerhead Shrike, Pileated Woodpecker and Red-bellied Woodpecker.
