Clear skies tonight as lows drop into the 50's. Residual moisture could bring an afternoon shower or thunderstorm Wednesday, otherwise partly cloudy with a high near 80°, southwest winds 5-10mph during the afternoon. A drier southwest flow will temporarily push monsoon moisture east of the Thursday, returning on Friday and continuing through the weekend. Showers and storms could be fairly widespread by Saturday, decreasing again early next week. Temperatures will remain close to average through the period as highs hover near 80-degrees, while overnight lows generally cool to the 50's.

Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
A south to southeast flow will continue to draw monsoon moisture into the region for a chance of showers at thunderstorms at times, primarily during the afternoons. A deeper surge of moisture along with another easterly wave could trigger some nocturnal activity Friday night, drying by early next week as the monsoon flow shifts east. Clear skies overnight with light winds as lows drop into the upper 40's and 50's. Expect partly cloudy skies Thursday becoming mostly cloudy by afternoon with a few thundershowers possible, highs in the upper 70's. Additional moisture and instability arrive Friday and Saturday bringing a better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially given enough clearing during the mornings for sufficient surface heating to trigger widespread convection. Highs will remain in the 70's over the weekend while overnight lows generally cool to the 50's. If you have outdoor activities planned through the weekend be mindful of the weather and keep a watchful eye to the sky; seek shelter indoors if a thunderstorm approaches your area. Thunderstorms may be capable of producing flash flooding rains, gusty winds, frequent lightning, and hail. Drier conditions will return next week with near-normal temperatures.

6:17 am it is 51°F and not much wind Bensweather.com Forecast Updated:
A moist southeast flow continues to draw monsoonal moisture into the area for a chance of showers and thunderstorms at times. Providing we don't have too much debris cloud cover; thunderstorms could be fairly widespread Friday and Saturday with even a few nocturnal storms possible. Drier weather will return next week with near-normal temperatures as the monsoon flow shifts east, at least temporarily. Variable cloudiness overnight with lows in the 50's. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies on Friday with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Cooler with highs in the mid to upper-70's, southeast winds 5-15mph, gusty around any storms. A chance of showers and storms will stay with us Friday night into Saturday as lows cool to the 50's with highs in the 70's through the weekend. A trough deepening off the west coast will shunt moisture off to the east on Sunday with dry conditions expected for much of next week. The monsoon flow could return towards next weekend. If planning outdoor activities through the weekend, keep an eye on the sky and seek shelter indoors if a thunderstorm approaches. Thunderstorms may be capable of producing flash flooding rains, gusty winds, frequent lightning, and hail.
