11:27 am #2 is still alone.
I did look back at the video and at 7:17 am they did look around on the ground for #1. It's very thick with foliage, and a bit wind too made it impossible to see anything even if it were there. It would take a ground crew to go look. I hope it is okay. This nest is really high!Re: Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021
Oh noooo! I just got a chance to look at the nest and saw only 1 eaglet there!
I hope the other one is ok, I know what you are saying about them exercising in the nest Rita, but I think its too early for the fledge

1:18 pm They found #1. Down and to the right just a bit. Looks okay! Perched on a tree limb.
Re: Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021
Thank God s/he is ok! I hope they somehow make their way back to the nest .
Re: Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021
Might take a few days Bee.
3:09 pm Looks like #2 is now perched on the right branch.

And #2 is back on the nest now, because a parent landed with food
So worried about #1

Re: Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021
No need to worry Bee. #1 is just fine. Honestly I'm not sure who is who here, so I could only assume it was the oldest that flubbed up the branching this morning. #1 is perched on a branch. It will figure out how to get back to the nest. Or it will have to spread those big beautiful wings and fly.
4:52 pm Feeding for #2 #1 is calling

Re: Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021
9:20 pm #2 is once again being bother by bugs tonight.
9:36 pm Insects are just flying everywhere. Don't now if it's little moths or what they are but they are out in full force tonight. #2 isn't resting yet but should be soon.
Re: Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021
I'm glad eaglet N°1 did not fell down to the ground and seems well but unfed...
Re: Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021
Good morning Rita, Ferenz, Kitcat and all fellow followers of this nest
It a calm morning, and #2 is waiting for breakfast patiently.
You are right Ferenz, its a good thing that #1 didn't fall all the way and hurt him/herself, but I am worried about #2 not having any food. I don't know how it would be possible for parents to provide food in the place where s/he is
I wish we had sound so we can hear if s/he is calling.

Good morning Ferenz, Bee, and Marianne. Thank you both for posting!
8:00 am Fish delivery! 8:01 am That must be Dad that delivered the fish. He looks so small compared to #2.

Wow Ferenz! Thank you so very much for posting. That fish was HUGE! I don't even know how Dad could fly with that one. Well we know #2 had a good meal this morning.
9:17 am #2 is perched on the left branch. It's a calm day so far. Little breeze but not the horrid wind.
