7:16 pm - just posting these s'caps with a question to Jean. I would think that the eaglet on the left of these s'caps is the oldest, and the one on the right is the youngest. Just wondering what your thoughts are Jean.

Hi Sue! Wonderful job on the cams.....thank you!! YES, I think you have that correct..........the eaglet on the left has more dark on its face................and the one on the right has more white downy feathers on its head still..............and seems to have finer features to me. That is how I have been IDing them, and no one has come forward to say anything different. Of course I am guessing and can't know for sure, but we have to start somewhere! :D

Please look for an email from me.

Woo hoo Welcome Dusk and Dawn. I am excited we have names and they are well suited indeed! Well done everyone for suggesting names that fit perfectly.

9:48pm.............WECOME DUSK AND DAWN! At last we can call you by your names! Thanks to everyone who voted !

Here we have the two eaglets: These characteristics are here for now, but likely will not last long.

DUSK is the first hatched, the oldest. Darker patches on face, round eyes.............
DAWN is the second hatched, the youngest. Slimmer face, slightly oval eyes............more white downy feathers on head.

7.58pm Not long after Ma goes and the eaglets are alone. Dusk prefers to sleep on the right and Dawn on the left. Dusk was biting the feathers on Dawn's back looking for a fight!

8.25 Fish tea is over and Ma sorts the nest while Dusk leans on Dawn and watches with interest.
