I visited the park on May 14th and as I was walking towards the nest tree an eagle was flying in with 2 crows behind it. It landed in the nest and was feeding young while the other adult perched at the side of the nest. However, I did not capture any eaglets in my photos.

Sassyk - thank you for sharing the photos.
I can only get a decent view of the nest from quite a distance and then have to video the activity in order to get anything close to a good shot.
Here are a couple of very poor views from this morning. The One chick appears to be doing well.

Thanks for the photos Paul. They are fantastic, showing the good sized eaglet. It does look very healthy :thumlft: I have to stand quite far back on the grass area across from the washrooms to get a clear view. I'll get over to the park again soon when it isn't windy

I went to the park on May 25th and saw an adult in the nest, looking like it was feeding young.

While I was watching the herons they started squawking like crazy and I was sure one of the eagles was heading to the rookery. Sure enough an eagle flew overhead very low with a crow hot on its tail :( I was happy to see the eagle continue to fly away without picking up dinner for its eaglet :thumlft:

I continue to see the eaglet everyday. It is now exercising its wings.

I visited the park with my birding partner on June 10th. One adult was in the nest with a very large healthy looking eaglet, but there wasn't much action :(

Great photos!
I do see the eaglet every day. It looks healthy. I am waiting to see it leave the nest, at least to adjacent branches.

Thanks Paul. It is always exciting to see them branching :thumlft: Sometimes a bit scary watching them jump up and down on a branch exercising their wings  Hopefully I will see it exercising its wings next time I visit. Hoping the eaglet will continue to grow and eventually fledge successfully :luck:
