jd_AEF 05:39 5:30 am Everyone still sleeping, NE24 with his/her little head tucked under Mom at least. 6:00 AM Mom and Dad are doing their preening while NE24 continues to snooze. Much more restful night for Mom!

Samson is off and running at 6:42 am...hope there's good fishing today! Mom begins first feeding at 6:58 am...NE24 is eager! Samson arrives with a nice fresh fish at 7:00 am and Gabby mantles it. Sam flies off, perhaps to get more. Gabby hops to Lookout Point after finishing the feeding and then flies off...Samson arrives in the nest 7:01 am with a clump of grassy stuff to take over Daddy duties with NE24.

Goood morning Hamlet! Gabby returned this morning at 8:30 with a stick. Sam left just a minute later. He returns at 9:46 with a squirrel to add to the pile of Hamlet Gumbo. Gabby fed both surf and turf this morning to NE24. I wonder what will be added next! Stay tuned!

Good afternoon everyone! At the start of my cam shift Sam was in the nest with NE24. At around 12:43 pm Gabby returned and was feeding NE24 what looked like squirrel for lunch. Sam took off at 12:46 from the Wallenda branch. Beautiful day here in the Hamlet. At 1:01 pm Gabby does some aerating and rolls the egg and settles back down. Sam arrives at 1:05 pm with what looks like another squirrel and goes up to LOP. Gabby gets up at 1:06 pm and takes some bites while NE24 is in a food coma, lol. Gabby moves up to Sunset branch at 1:11 pm. Sam takes off at 1:15 pm from LOP. Gabby is back in the nest at 1:37 pm. My shift is almost over on cams. Hope you enjoyed the views this afternoon. I will see you tomorrow. Take care and have a great rest of the day everyone!

Catching up, Seems our Little Uno is a sharp shooter. 2 ps's right thru the uprights for 2 nest goals, and in between those 2 is the direct hit on Gabby. She jumped a foot above the nest! Samson arrives at 11:15 with a fresh Tilapia for the pot of Hamlet Gumbo! Time for our fantastic kclark to present the next funniest nest happenings! Good afternoon! At 3:12 Ne24 is awake and looking and moving around. 3:17 Gabby is up and aerating the nest. At 3:25 Gabby goes back to incubating the egg, and NE24 decides it's time for a nap in the sunshine

TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Many thanks to the chatters tonight for doing the tucking. We were at the nest and saw the parade of deer there (5 total). The yearling was scampering around like crazy......so cute. A Barred Owl flew over us at close range. We heard Gabby make a vocal sound and low and behold an immature eagle flew by the nest. Samson flew in and flew out and back to the nest again and roosting tonight as seen on Cam 2. Gabby has NE24 and NE25 egg close by offering the warmth she always provides. All is very fine in the pine! SED to our Hamlets and to y'all!
