Good evening, everyone!

5:12 pm
Sur and Res arrived a couple of minutes ago.

Sur on left.

It's interesting how they seem to like visiting at dusk and dawn - sunset was 4:38 pm, though it stays light for a while after that.

They were both looking the same way a second before I took this - but this is also cute.

Res on the right flew off a moment later; Sur is still standing and looking at 5:15 pm.

Just before Sur and Res arrived, a squirrel was scampering around and went into his nest which I believe is in the underside of the Eagle’s nest.

Thanks, Whovian - I missed that! I do see the squirrels there a lot, and hope they keep an eye out, as the eagles may not be interested in sharing the nest (though it's not uncommon for small birds or occasionally mice or squirrels to live in the bottom part of eagle nests).
