2:02pm.......We are seeing more birds today than recently.............maybe our eagles are starting to come back or else there are a lot of hawk type birds in the area. Wish our cam could zoom out just a bit more and this wind would die down.

This one could be an eagle...........wonder if Trooper is back? Or Ma?

3:54pm..........It is possible that this bird could be a hawk.............the only way we will know if it is any of our eagles for sure, it if they come to the nest. No other birds were seen.

5:54 pm - then the someone on the first tower flew off...headed downward and then to the right...at first it appeared to be a jump off of a hawk but then with the wings out it looked like an eagle....I'm really not sure at this point....they quickly went downward and then to the right...I was not quick enough to follow them but did not find them on the poles or towers to the right...or on the nest or nest tree

6:33 pm - I just took another look around and did not find anyone except for the someone that is on the distant tower to the left of the far right tower. The wind was okay when I first logged onto the cams but seems to be picking up again. No one around now that I could see.

I am now off the cams. Everyone have a great night!

7:12pm......There is no one around now............getting dark as the sun is down. The wind is up too and our birds will be tucking into their spots for the night.

One thing...........the stick tree has this dark patch in it..........could it be an eagle? :dunno: Likely just a part of a branch there but will post it for future reference just in case. This is the same area where our eagles were perching with Shadow last August.

Interesting about the large bird on the first tower today..............it stuck around for a long time..............hoping it is one of our pair back from their migration. We shall see!

I am now OFF both cams.
