That was a neat note from the Bear Center. We are OK here too Scott. It's way too hot!

Scott, the Breaking Bad series was my first binge and that was years after it had ended. :D
Great shows, both.
BBu gets hung up while loading. I'll try again later.

Carolyn lots of deep east tx stormy weather lately. I expected the weather here would be rainy like the texas coastal area. Not so much; we got our first soaking in ages today. :thumlft:

Iona I see parts of your area has dealt with bad weather conditions lately. Now the Michigan dam breaks.

Judi, how are you & loved ones?

Nice to hear all's good there but the temperature Carolyn. :)
We hit low 80's last week but now down to 60's. I know it's much hotter for you.

I like both those shows too Naoma and they are the longest I've ever binge watched at 5 years. :)

Iona, spring weather is always crap shoot. :)
We finally got a good rain here. After N tx, I had no idea that florida could be drought-ish.

I recall last summer seeing a squirrel in shed, Scott. I assumed it was an affliction or mange. Now I know.

Carolyn, here we are entering our humid/low 90's phase. Hopefully the sea breeze, heat induced thunder storms will help.

I hope the flooding eases quickly in your area Iona. :)
Unfortunately there many areas that are suffering from the same problem.

I thought the 3 squirrels who visit my deck daily all had mange as there was varying degrees of fur loss and lots of scratching with all a few months ago Naoma. Gradually the fur began to grow back and now all 3 are back to looking normal and entertaining me daily. I read the reason for this was probably a fungal infection which usually clears up on it's own. :)

I noticed a different bird out back as I was having breakfast this morning. No time to get my camera but there were 2 male and one female Evening Grosbeaks. The female on the feeder and the two males in the pear tree. I know they are seen regularly here but I've only seen them a couple times in my yard. :)

The baby crow died the next day.
The shooting was a few miles from where I live but I know the area as friends used to live on the same street.
