2:34pm......Thank you Sandy and Marg for those s'caps..............Sandy, hopefully that second one will be up soon and ready to feed................The first chick had the benefit of a night's sleep before trying that first meal...........11 hours difference in hatching times doesn't seem like much and in time it shouldn't make any difference.

IN on both cams. Both loaded quickly. :thumlft:

They are adorable, Rita. I was just watching in amazement. Found myself rooting for #2 to get his head up and he almost did. Such sweetness with both of them.

2:55pm......I see you have some good s'caps Rita, so I won't post all I have.......just a few. That second chick has been struggling to stand up............seems to have a head that is too heavy for it to lift up there...........as the legs strengthen that should get better.

Ma looked at the second one............was going to offer food, but it isn't ready yet.

Ma was gently tucking her babies in. Great zooming, Jean. Amazing to see the youngsters so close and so personal.

2:59pm...........The first chick is eating well.......accepting lots of food and standing most of the time, but it was leaning on the second chick which would have prevented that chick from getting up.

Finally second chick got upright! Didn't last.

3:19pm..........Pa came to the nest and although I'm not sure he brought it, there is something strange looking by him.........have no idea what it was, likely the remnants of something that was mostly gone. Ma left the nest and Pa took over babysitting.
