Hi Jean, ,sorry I had to leave, but cams aren't working great for me right now and I have to get some things done here.
Thanks to you
Sue and Cheryl for zooming on our nest overnight and this morning! Without you gals we would not have seen the second hatch as we did! The cams are a big problem..............no doubt about it and leaving them close to the nest will help viewers see and will help provide rollback footage for us too.
I am IN and OUT this morning too.
IF ANYONE IS WATCHING PLEASE POST! Thanks!

Delta
They look like little fur balls.
So darn cute.
Glad both chicks are doing fine.
Exciting times ahead for Ma and Pa.

10:21am..........Thanks
Sandy for posting..........I'm just here for a bit, then need to go. Glad the cams are close on the nest as they are almost impossible to move right now. I am so glad we have a dry day today but the rain is coming back and it will be wet for a while I'm afraid.
Anyone seen Ma trying to feed the first chick yet?
Right now Ma is pressing down on them and digging around them.........keeping them warm as we do have a cold breeze today.

10:30am..............Ma isn't showing us much of the chicks as she digs. I think we know why her beak is so dirty...............I see a little wing jutting out from underneath her.

Just tuned in!
Took these before they were covered up I don't know if there was a feeding but suspect there was.

11:05am.............IN on the EAST cams very fast. thank goodness it loaded quickly. Ma just tried to fee the first chick and I think it was fairly successful. The second chick remained low, just napping at it must be very tired from all its efforts.

11:08pm......More of the feeding.........chick 1 reached up to take the food, not sure he/she knew what to do with it though. Don't know if it actually ate, but the motions were good.

11:52am.......Another attempt at feeding but not sure how successful it was. Second chick was moving around, but did not stand up. First chick may have taken some as h/s was quite curious and willing.
First chick was very wobbly at first, falling down, but got up again and did pretty good after that.
I am now IN on both cams. They are not responding well.

12:28pm................They are definite cuties for sure..........chick 1 seems to be full of energy..............chick 2 is moving around and wiggling but not standing up yet.
This is the beak on chick 2.
Pa arrived at the nest and nibbled on some of the prey first.

12:30pm.........Pa seemed a little confused about what to do........he gingerly went over to the chicks and wiggled his way down on them, but not before rolling them.

Delta 2
Another feeding taking place. Chick number one very vocal and getting bites.
Chick number 2 is still low in the nest and has not made any effort to get food.
Just wondering how long it normally takes for the second chick to become more active and grab bites of food.
