Checking the dvr....

Res was up and off at 4:23 pm; didn't get the flyout, but here are the eggs.

North cam is pixelating badly, so I'll check South to see if I can tell who came in.

4:26 pm
This looks like Sur.

4:46 pm
This definitely looks like Sur
20200324_023.jpg

And he started calling, and was up and off at 4:47 pm.

Someone is back at 4:48 pm - my guess is Res - I think I see her cowlick - but I am not sure yet.

I've rebooted North since it was badly pixelated - and this is definitely Res.

I'm not sure what's up with the very brief afternoon break - maybe other eagles in the area. And maybe he'll give her another break before the long overnight shift.

And it is getting to be night here - so I'll say goodnight. Please post if you see anything interesting, or just to say that all is going well.

6:17 pm I see you have already covered the very short break Res had JudyB! I was doing the same thing!

I will post these anyway since they are already done - different perspective! :)

Good morning, everyone!

Thanks for the weather and for reporting the cam, Bev - I'm doing a reboot of North now.

I did take a look back, and didn't see any activity beyond the usual repositioning and turning the eggs. I also tried to look around a bit, but it's way too foggy to see anything.

6:43 am
Very noisy - geese flying by? Res doesn't seem concerned, though she did look around.

Added -

6:51 am
Cam just switched to color and I wanted to share this image of lovely Res on a misty morning.

7:00 am
Res was calling - maybe she thinks it's time for Sur to take over incubating for a while.

Res just took a brief break - she left at 7:16 am
20200325_004.jpg

And returned at 7:18 am
20200325_005.jpg

I tried to go in on North to take a closer look at the eggs, but she was back before I got the cam in the right place - and being on the direct link caused the North embedded cam to pixelate - so I'm going to reboot it again.

Res was off again at 7:24, and I'm pretty sure it's Sur that came in this time.
20200325_006.jpg

Because I was already on the North cam to do the reboot, I again tried to zoom in on the eggs - and they look great! Unfortunately I don't have a s'cap - Sur arrived before I could take one from the zoomer link, and the embedded cam is too pixelated to see anything. I did make a preset, so next time I get a change, I may be able to get into position faster.

We are still a bit over a week away from the time we'll start watching for the first chick to begin making its way out of the shell - so I'm mostly just getting ready.

1:45 pm Checking the DVR back to JudyB's post I could only find one exchange - at 1:00 pm. Unless I missed a couple that is a long shift Sur put in!

11:05 am Sur up and looking around for Res!

Thanks, gemini!

It looks as if Res was on duty until about 4:28 pm.

Here she is at 4:26 pm showing off her lovely white tail.

Sur (on the left) arrives at 4:28 pm

And Res decides to get while the getting is good!

Sur moved over to incubate a moment later - they both have a really good idea of what their job is right now.

It's now 5:47 pm, and I'm 99% it's still Sur on duty.

Good night, everyone! :offtobed:
