7:02 am Valor 2 beginning to feed breakfast at approximately 6:50 am to Snowy and Spring.
“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
7:05 am the hatchling in front seems to get the attempts at the bites. Think two of them worked. Are those bites hitting the mark, not sure but Valor 2 is doing a good job with the small bites. Will take time.

7:12 am three successful bites for the hatchling in front. So far, no bonking.

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
7:17 am I am not sure but think Spring is the one in the back as little more of a bobbling head. If I am right, Snowy got the benefit of the feeding. But not to worry as there will be more feedings today.

7:20 pm Valor 2 tucks in his little ones as finished with the 6:50 am feeding.

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
8:15 am about 10 minutes ago, Valor 2 is up. I could not resist these s'caps. Thinking Spring is on the right and Snowy on the left only because of the differences in wobbly head bobbing.

8:18 am Valor 2 beginning to offer food to Spring first. Then here comes Valor 1.

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
8:23 am Valor 2 offers Snowy a successful bite. Both Valors seem on alert. Beginning to think there are intruders maybe flying around. There is a fish in the nest and maybe that is why the pantry isn't stocked. Of course, I do not know any of this for sure as cannot see off cam but just thoughts.

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
8:33 am Valor 2 offers several bites but could not see which eaglet got the bites. Valor 2 tucks in the little ones as Valor 1 flies. It sure seems as if Valor 1 was on protection duty. But only a personal observation.

Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
Good Morning Sandy! I just watched that last bit with Valor 1 in and keeping an eye out. I agree that he was there to be sure everything was okay, letting Valor 2 feed the chicks without any worries.Sandy_W wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 6:34 am8:33 am Valor 2 offers several bites but could not see which eaglet got the bites.
