'Morning, everyone (not quite ready to say "good morning here). And drat.

I checked the weather reports (thanks for posting them, Bev!), and it sounds as if it was in the 40s (F - that's 5-10 C) overnight - not good but above freezing, so here may be a chance for the eggs.

As others have said, I'm not sure that's a good thing.

I am remembering that the female at Surrey Reserve hurt her leg last year during the nesting season, badly enough that she couldn't use it for a couple of days, but was able to hobble around within a couple of weeks - which may not be fast enough here, but it is better than the experience we've had at Berry College and our own Delta 2 nests where the females broke their legs; Ma Delta's leg was mostly healed by 2017, three years after it was broken), and I can no longer see her favoring it enough to use it for ID, but Mom Berry hasn't been as lucky, and still has trouble using her leg.

Anyway - I guess I'm going with "trust the eagles" and will hope that whatever is best for them is what happens.

I think this is Mom back - and can't tell if something is happening to the egg nearer her, or if I'm seeing a combination of the cam pixelating and some nest material.

She is still bothered with her right leg she would be incubating the eggs if she wasn't

Re the egg .. I am wondering if there is a hatch in progress or just the cam pixelating or is it broken., so many questions :sigh:
