Of course I still tune in a couple-three times a day to check on Harriet and M15 and their lives are such a joy to watch.
I'm not aware that a DNA test has been done, or will be done?
Personally, I felt she was a female due to her character, bonking Harriet in the night, then bonking M and twisting his feathers. Her feisty attitude just made me think she was a mini Harriet. Just my opinion, which could be wrong, but just my thoughts none the less.

Good morning! Pleasant surprise to see Harriet and M in tree. 0700 Harriet to nest followed by M.

0704 Both watchful. 0715 Harriet watches as M flies off across the road, then follows M.

Thank you all, Philjo, Pascale, Chris, Suemac, Lanibelle (any others I forgot?) for your early morning updates. ALways appreciated. Beautiful poem, James. I do not always post replies but I do really appreciate all the posts from SWFEC mods and super-viewers! You catch so many things that I would miss otherwise.
Best wishes,
Peggy

Kathy there was no DNA test done and we don't know for sure that E14 was a girl. Perhaps they will do that during the further testing at the lab in Georgia where E14 was sent. Some of us just hate to call this baby "it" and have chosen to call E14 "her". By her attitude and feistiness we just are guessing that E14 was a girl. MaryF

.I have a new video for y'all from LadyHawk!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVKrwA6n5qg
From Lady Hawk
Harriet and M have been working hard on the nest today and spending more time in the nest tree and bonding more than they usually do. The changes to their normal routine have been impacted early in the season with losing E14 and not having the responsibilities of raising and providing for their chick. It makes sense for H & M to pick up nestorations once again and keep busy.
They brought in 9 sticks today and had some funny stick discussions along the way! Harriet is seen flying off to the west pasture at 7:56 and returns with a stick and M will fly off towards the dead fig tree trying to grab a stick at 12:50, misses it but heads toward the pond and returns with a huge branch. He trips over it trying to place it lol They work as a team and solidify their bond keeping their relationship strong. Thank you for watching.
