From the AEF
This nest was successful last season in that the two eggs hatched .. with eaglets grew strong .. Peace was rescued and subsequently released but wasn't returned to nest .Hope Fledged successfully and we watched and waited for a sighting of Peace after his release but is was not to be ... Our hopes and best wishes go to both our fledglings .we trust they are doing well !

Yes, Juliet was at Tatine's tree (TT-near the intracoastal) this evening perched, and Romeo was in the nest and left for the sleeping tree tonight! Let the excitement abound! No, the cams aren't streaming live yet, but we will surely announce when they are! Until then, the cam operators will be viewing the cams and reporting and grabbing pics to share. WooHoo and prayers are answered.

Good Morning NEFL eagles and all

From the Cam chat
squee_AEF (Moderator): Good morning and Happy March 1st eagle peeps! temps now are in the mid 60's; Thursday's Hamlet forecast is going to have sunny skies to start the day then turning partly cloudy, temps will be in the low 80's with 10-20 mph winds. Pollens are high now, so you might hear a few snites( sneezes)! Enjoy the day and keep your eyes to the skies!

Mar 1, 6:35 AM
squee_AEF (Moderator): F.Y.I.: I have never seen a fledgling bring anything to the nest in the last 5 years of cam. Though they do find nestovers in the nest.
Mar 1, 7:39 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): 6:35 am Sky and Spirit fly off to start the day's adventures..perhaps they saw Romeo in the distance.
jd_AEF (Moderator): 7:08 am Juliet brings a nice fish and Spirit follows her in and mantles.
Mar 1, 8:12 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): Sky flies in behind them and steals the fish!
Mar 1, 8:41 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): Juliet decides to help with the fish but Sky leaves...things to do, places to go, Mom!

Mar 1, 9:13 AM
cynmari_AEF (Admin): Squirrel has now been delivered! Looks like another sur and turf kinda day

UpDates

Mar 1, 12:08 PM
cynmari_AEF (Admin): Squirrel has now been delivered! Looks like another sur and turf kinda day! When I came on, there was already a fish in the nest. Spirit had that all to himself. Around 8:10, Dad came in with a squirrel. This was enough to bring Sky home as well! Sky left before Spirit, between 8:30 and 9. Spirit stayed til around 9:30. Both parents were perched for a while. Mom and dad left separately, dad leaving first.
Mar 1, 12:20 PM
cynmari_AEF (Admin): One of the kids landed briefly on the little branch in front of the nest but left before I could ID. Either Spirit or Sky has buzzed the nest tree a couple times.
Mar 1, 1:30 PM
aka_AEF (Moderator): Good Afternoon! Spirit arrives home at 12:14 and appears ready to rest awhile! No doubt he has been enjoying this beautiful windy day in the Hamlet! Juliet arrives with a fish for lunch at 12:22. She flies to the Wallenda Branch while Spirit enjoys the fish
