North dvr goes back about 90 minutes and South goes back 2 hours - which makes me think there may have been a power outage or Ken may have rebooted the server at some point.
11:00 am
I just checked and the DVR went back to 2:42 pm yesterday

4:46 pm Yesterday afternoon's visit!

I don't know what's going on with the DVR but the other day when it went back 2 hours, I cleared my cache and did a hard refresh and the cam came up with 12 hours on the DVR! Something isn't working right.

So just for the heck of it, I cleared cache just now and did a hard refresh and the DVR went back only a couple of hours. I repeated the step and it is back to 3:00 pm yesterday!

Res came in at 9:53 am and was joined shortly after by Sur. They worked on the nest for about 15 minutes.

:vid: Video coming.

Hi everyone!

2:58 pm
Well, this is exciting - I just opened a reply window to start a post about checking the dvr - and an eagle arrived!
20191121_005.jpg

I think this is Sur - it looks like his eyes.
20191121_006.jpg

And I'm noticing that the icons in the corner are gone, though there were there the last time I checked (but I don't remember how long ago that was - an hour or two?). I just tried opening the live cam page in a different browser, and they're still there - so I'm pretty sure they'll come back if I refresh the page.

And Sur left while I was typing, at about 3:02 pm. Here's another picture.

Not sure what's up with the dvr :dunno: It's now 3:16 pm. North goes back 12 hours - to 7:08 pm yesterday, so there are gaps there somewhere; 8 hours ago on North (roughly) is 7 am - which is close, so the gap was earlier than that. South goes back 12 hours to 3:20 am - which is correct (it's now a few minutes later than when I started typing :mihihi: ). Strange!

And I think the videos are fine with or without the plump icon in the corner; if the "feature" doesn't go away in a few days, we can discuss making a relevant icon - there's a discussion on Report Cams Down (which is a general thread for tech issues, not just cams down) - viewtopic.php?f=66&t=33&start=1380#p256059

Good morning, everyone, and thanks for the weather, Bev - I think it was colder in BC than in Maine last night, though the daytime temperatures are about the same!

9:35 am
Checked the dvr back to Bev's post and didn't see any visits.

Someone just arrived with a big stick!

I think this is Sur.

9:42 am
He's now doing his favorite standing & looking thing.

North cam is pixelating a bit as he moves around the nest - I'm going to try to log in for a closeup of his eye if he'll wait for that, then do a reboot when he leaves.

9:50 am
Res arrived with another big stick.
20191122_003.jpg

I think this is Sur placing it for her (from the direct link - North embedded hasn't come back up from the reboot).
20191122_004.jpg

South embedded is also looking a bit choppy - not sure if that's my computer or the feed.

10:00 am
Res flew off; Sur is still moving sticks around. This was shortly before she left.
20191122_005.jpg

I have closeups that I'll add after the visit ends; North embedded is still down; South embedded is still choppy.

Oops - I lost track of who was where - it's Sur who flew off. This is Res still on the nest (also confirmed with look at eye though I didn't get a s'cap).
20191122_006.jpg

And here's Sur returning with another stick.
20191122_007.jpg

Sur off again at 10:10 am.

10:12 am
Res went up to the little perch, and then flew off. A nice busy visit!
20191122_008.jpg

I've called Ken, and he'll be rebooting the server soon, which should help get the North embedded cam back on line. It may also help with the occasional choppiness on South. I'm going to take a bit of a break, then I'll be back to post close-ups.

10:37 am
North embedded cam is back - thanks, Ken!

12:25 pm
Someone just arrived, I think with a stick. And I think this is Sur - not always easy to see, but I think he has one little dark feather on his head (and I have a close-up of it, once I find time to pull the close-ups from the videos and post them with descriptions).
20191122_009.jpg

And he just provided a nice look at his upper tail as he did a bit of work rounding out the nest cup area.
20191122_010.jpg

12:29 pm
I just heard some sort of bird call (I don't think eagle) - and I think Sur heard it, too - he jumped up and is now looking intently at something.
20191122_011.jpg

Sur flew off at 12:32 pm.

Sur came to the nest at 4:33 pm, poked around the bowl, stood around and left. Oops, that was Sur the first time! Res came to the nest at 4:47 pm and pretty much did the same thing! (Sorry for the mix up!)
