I know Bev. I found that out last night and took the screen grab. The tough part was keeping it up while hitting the hot key. And as you can tell, I'm already subscribed via YouTube. I get notifications.
I can get to the YouTube stream without giving anybody my email addy. I was just being lazy. 😉
Thanks for the info and...
G'morning Bev :)

Good afternoon, everyone!

2:35 pm
I just checked back to Bev's post, and didn't see any visits.

North cam is sounding pretty choppy, so I'm going to give it a reboot.

Added -
I just noticed that the icon that looked like a person in the upper left corner is gone; it may have been something that YouTube was doing, since the SW Florida cam also is showing an icon.

And now that I've reloaded the browser page with the cams, I see the little circle person is back - so I may have been seeing an older version of the page. And if it makes it easier for people to subscribe to our cams, that's a good thing, because more active channels are more likely to appear on those pages of "other things to watch" that show up when a cam is offline - and we could get more viewers.

Sur arrives at 4:34 PM PST. Res comes on the nest at 4:42 PM PST. Res leaves at 4:48 PM PST And Sur follows his girl at 4:51 PM PST.
At the 11:51 mark geese can be heard flying by.

It seems to me that Sur and Res favor around dusk. 🤔

Good morning, everyone! Thanks for the weather, Bev, and thanks, Bill, for video of the visit last evening - and I think you may be on to something about them liking the dusk!

8:21 am
North dvr goes back about 90 minutes and South goes back 2 hours - which makes me think there may have been a power outage or Ken may have rebooted the server at some point.

I did not see any visits when I looked back - and I'm not currently seeing the icons in the corner.

And they re-appeared when I reloaded the page (though North had a spinning arrow when I arrived and I used the Live button to get out of that without bringing up the icons). I've been leaving the embedded cams streaming 24/7 on my computer, in part because (while it doesn't make sense to my techie mind) we learned that at one point that the only way to keep the cams at Harrison Mills streaming was to keep the embedded cams up. That went on for a couple of weeks - and then they started working normally again.

I don't claim that makes sense - but North seems to be staying up longer since I've been doing this, and it doesn't use that much electricity for my monitor to stream all night in an empty room - so I'll continue to do this. And perhaps the icons disappear after some number of hours - I'll try to report on them as the day progresses.

G'd afternoon Judy :)
If you go to the YouTube stream you won't see any icons.
What I do is check out the Surrey/Reserve/Cams page. If I find something that I want to record I go to the YouTube page. I got lazy and some of the vids have the little plump person in the upper left hand corner. ;)
