Good Morning Trio Lovers! I haven't heard any updates on the Trio cam but thought I would mention that the Migration cam is up and has a new look....seems to be a really crisp picture....seeing some seagulls fly by and someone is out there fishing. I'm sure if you watch long enough there could be eagles flying by as well.

Oh My Goodness Philippe! Thanks for being the first to capture our Trio nest and even caught one of our Trio! So great to see!

Yes, I think the time may be off.

12:00 pm - not sure of the time, although the clock says noon time.....it's noon on the East coast so I thought Trio was one hour behind me??? Maybe they forgot to set their clock on the cam back an hour. Everything seems to be ticking away, but then slows down and skips a beat....no sound. So maybe they are still working on it and it's not really officially up? Not sure.

In any case, found one of the Trio on the nest and they flew off....luckily it was all in slow motion so caught a couple good ones! Not sure who this is though.

Hi Sue and Philippe. Thanks, Philippe for checking in early the this morning.
Sandy, I don't know for sure but thinking it's Valor 2 up top and Valor 1 on the nest. I will have a video shortly.....it was very choppy as every time someone came into the nest there was a blip so I never saw anyone land....they just appeared....Poof!

Yeah, Sue, I am going to have to get back into the swing of things. Was watching a bit and looked like Valor 1 down in the nest too. And possibly Valor 2 up on the branch as was trying to see his eyes. But guessing.

Here's a video from around 12:15 pm today.....I've sped it up a little to try to get rid of some of the stuttering but it's still slow in parts. Thinking it was Valor 1 (right), and Starr (left) at the beginning and then Valor 2 came in. Then I think it was Starr that flew off, and maybe Valor 2 up on the high branch, and Valor 1 on the nest, at the end.....Of course I could have it all wrong.

:vid: First glimpse of the Trio

1:56 pm cam time (which I believe is 12:52 actual time at the nest). I have a video of Valor 1 hanging out on the nest, talking in eagle-ize, like he is known to do. I think he brought in food for Starr, because he stood there for a long time, then finally started eating. The cam does freeze up from time to time. All of a sudden Starr magically appeared on the nest, then they both soon flew away. I will post video as soon as Google solves it problems & I will post it in this post. Here are some screen shots.

1:56 pm cam time: Valor 1 magically appears on the nest.

1:57: V1 talking to someone.
2019-11-12 (20).png
2:07 pm (time on cam): V1 starts cleaning a bird & I think was eating some.
2019-11-12 (21).png
Here is the video I captured of my first view of the Trio nest this season. Since it was my first view, I couldn't bear to edit it. :D The best part begins at the 17:32 mark, when V1 & Starr start alerting, then fly off in tandem. V1 on nest and V1 & Starr's Tandem Flight

It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

2:12 pm (time on cam): V1 watches over area.

2:14: Starr "magically" appears on nest (cam froze up, then jumped in time) & both she & V1 are alerting.

2:14 pm (time on cam): Both Starr & V1 fly off together. I thought this was so cool, since we rarely see a tandem fly off like this.
