thank you Mimi, love that ! looks like young e9 had a bit bigger eyes but everything else is so similar!

On Sydney WBSE se23 fledged today at 12:56. poor baby was harassed by magpies and he got fed up about them.

Stay safe little one. rangers are looking after him and probably after SE24 who hasn't been seen for 2 days :(

Hi everyone. Are you as excited as I am looking at these pictures side by side :rh: :rh: I have no doubt that the two are of the same eagle...E9, of course. :bye 1:
:ty:
If NestFriend says it's E9--it's E9! Or Eee Ninestein---his formal name. :D
Thank you very much for the profile comparisons. :woohoo:

I let you imagine how hard it was to make it even after so much time...

It is scary to know that the owl is there knocking H ad M in the dark every evening :w00t:

Sunnybird and Phil, you are very welcome—btw I am not the only one saying that I think it was E9 who visited the nest, some of the moderators of groups on FB are saying it too along with many of the members. Of course we will never know for sure, unless he digs out Eggbert or something like that...

Those baby falcons are too cute and I wish them all the luck in the world. :luck: :bye 1:

hi Sunnybird

I'm looking at their chat and people say he's close to the river. 23 is on the opposite side...
they said they heard him... he was so silent on nest... :dunno:

FB page says
UPDATE 20th October - yesterday and today we have confirmation one of the fledglings - likely SE24 - has crossed the river - seen at Mangrove Island yesterday and River Roost today.

And today also SE23 flew around the nest tree

Empty nest at Melbourne but SE23 & 24 seemed to be well wherever they were seen.
