Good morning, everyone, and thanks for the weather, Bev!

Something interesting - the dvr on my iPad didn't seem to go back before sunrise this morning - but my computer is going back to last night, and there was a visit by both adults around 7 pm which I'm watching now - will post a couple of pictures in a minute. They did a bit of beaking, and one of them tried out the nest cup. Then the other one moved into the nest cup area. I'm still having trouble telling them apart at times, especially when the cam is in grayscale rather than color. They were there about 6 minutes. I didn't see any other visits, though the North dvr jumped from 5:15 am to 7:15 am (and upon reflection, it may have been around 7:15 am before I checked my iPad - and I had forgotten to close the embedded cam on my computer last night - thought I was coming back, but got distracted).

I think it is Res on the right, and testing the nest cup.

Continuing....

Res on the nest

Res preparing to leave while Sur checks the nest (he didn't actually snuggle in like Res did, just stood there)
20191010_005.jpg

Res departing - there's a tiny bit of dark feathers at the top, but I think less than Sur has.

Sorry for the extra picture - Sur departing.

And it's lunch time here - back in a while.

Good morning, everyone! Thanks for the weather and the early report, Bev!

I've been watching since around 5:30, and didn't see any visits. It's now almost 8 am.

It looks like a lovely morning, and I think the leaves are really turning now - fun to watch.

Thanks, Bev and gemini!

12:45 pm
Someone just landed - I think Sur. He immediately found a stick to move.

Actually, I just watched the playback, and I think he brought it. He sort of dropped it as he landed, then moved it, but it wasn't there before.

He looked around a bit and flew off at 12:48 pm.

12:51 pm
Back again with another stick.

I saw his upper tail briefly both times he landed, which is why I think this is Sur.

1:02 pm
He's still there, just standing on the nest and looking around. I need to step away for a bit - will check back when I can.

1:57 pm Sur just stood and looked around until he finally left at 1:07 pm. I don't think I have ever seen any eagles before these two, do as much standing around and just looking as they do.
