4:32pm.......Here is that same blob we saw yesterday on the distant evergreen tree. As we are often seeing this I am inclined to think it is part of a tree there.........not a bird. So think for future reference I will ignore it.

4:36pm.......Still very quiet out there at this time. The distance is very murky and hard to see much of anything as the fog seems to be thickening. It would be nice to have some real drying out so we could get a better view.

I am now OFF both cams.

8:56am........Still very quiet out there...............the tide is way out but there are no visible birds there at all. Ma and Trooper are hopefully still having a good feast up north but should return in the next couple of weeks or so.

9:26 am - Good Morning Delta 2! It looks like we had a visitor on the nest at this time. I think it’s a hawk but could be wrong. I’ve attached a few s’caps and a short video. He comes in from the lower right side.

12:13pm..........Thanks Sue........great video and it shows good details of this hawk. I have no idea what kind of hawk this is.......there was no red tail showing on it.

ADDED: One of our zoomers, Sandy, thinks this could have been a juvie red tail hawk as they do not have red tails yet...........and there certainly are red tail hawks in this area.

2:29pm........IN on both cams..........

Saw these dots earlier today......but they were not moving so couldn't tell what they were. Right now however I can see them moving and some flying in and out........likely ducks.

2:53pm..........The wind has come up since this morning.........both cams are jiggling quite a bit now making it hard to get a solid look at anything in the distance. But from what I can tell..............no eagles around at all.

Having trouble focusing with the E Cam for some reason....not sure if it's because it's still so early and there is not enough light but getting double vision

7:11 am - such a beauty! I've just been corrected.....this is not a hawk but a falcon (thank you Rita!). Should have known from the eyes. I always get them confused. Must study up on them a little more...or maybe a lot, lol. Still a beauty though!

7:13 am - our little beauty was checking things out below the nest as it seemed there was some noise from below.
