7:05 am - this large bird flew off the first tower as another large bird came flying in from the left and landed on top of the first tower.
The one that was on the tower originally flew off to the right as the other one landed up top. I do believe these were both hawks and not eagles.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
7:07 am - a s'cap from the E Cam gives us a little more light and we can see the chest on this bird is lighter than the rest of it so that is why I am assuming this is a hawk. S/he flew off to the left and I think it was them that was on the tower that is on the left of the flag pole.
7:33 am - I am now off the cams. Everyone have a great day!
7:13 am - The hawk eventually flew off of this tower and probably headed for the trees as it had started raining at this point.
I took another look around and found no birds perched anywhere. 7:33 am - I am now off the cams. Everyone have a great day!

2:13pm.........We can see the bluff nest today...........maybe some of the leaves have fallen off the tree making this possible. Or maybe the lighting is just right too.

2:20pm......There is someone perched on the distant evergreen tree......guessing it is another hawk. We can barely see this tree now with all the leaves and branches that have grown in front of our view.

8:16 am - Good Morning Delta 2! I am logging into the cams
8:24 am - looks like we have a hawk on the far right tower. We always see the hawks before Ma & Trooper get back. Using their territory while they are away. 8:38 am - seeing some white here at this tree that is left of the Bluff Eagle's nest....normally a spot where one of them perches but I'm sure it's not an eagle back this early I haven't seen any movement.

8:52 am - not seeing any other birds perched out there....well, maybe some small ones way down on the lower part of the center tower. Came around to the tape that I missed on the back side of the tree....darn it....wish I had remembered that as it blocks out view looking down at the bay and sometimes that distant tree where eagles do perch.
8:54 am - I am now off the cams. We are one more day closer to our eagles returning. Everyone have a great day!Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
9:05 am - had YouTube still up and the sound up and heard someone at the nest.....looks like a woodpecker...I think.

Hi Jean and Sue, I just had to look the ID of the woodpecker. From what I can see, looks like a hairy woodpecker. Pretty bird.
