Both Surrey embedded cams went offline about 13 minutes ago, and I am unable to connect to the cams directly using the zoomer link. I checked the BC Hydro Outages map - and I think I found the problem:

I know the nest is fairly close to the US border, and fairly close to Semiahmoo Bay - so I think it's an outage.

I'll send Ken an email, and will try to check again in a while.

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry to be MIA but we have been very busy with hospital and appointments, all is well just tests, i go again on the 11th and the 27th to heart specialist.
I don't see any action around or in the nests. The branch that was laid there is still there in one piece, Please take care and see you all soon.

Good afternoon, everyone, and thanks for starting our day, nightowl.

I'm not a morning bird like Bev - but here's the weather for the day:
20190908_009.jpg

For those who don't know, Nova Scotia, where Bev lives, was hit hard by hurricane Dorian, and still has massive power outages, so it may be a couple of days before she's back online.

I looked back on the dvr, and didn't see any activity. I have seen an occasional squirrel in the tree, though they don't want to stop and pose - and have seen other types of birds flying around, but no eagles yet - and I'm really not expecting them until the end of the month or beginning of October.

Good morning, everyone, and thanks for starting our day, nightowl!

No word from Bev yet, but the number of customers without power is down below 200,000 now (it was almost 300,000 out of 500,000 homes and businesses in Nova Scotia when I first started looking, and according to news stories peaked at 400,000). I'm guessing that the utilities are focusing on the larger cities first, so it may be a couple more days before Bev is back online.

Here's the weather for the day:
