I checked the DVR and no sign of Dad and Handel since 8:48a this morning.. I think they have started migration!

This is bittersweet for me .. but with the hurricane coming I am happy they did ...

Good Speed Dad and Handel . Have a safe migration Dad , time for you get some R&R and plenty of fish and hope to see you back here next year and to you Handel be safe and hope you have plenty of fish on your journey , soar the open skies and take time to rest ...Mom and Dad taught you well.... hope you have a nest of your own some day with a couple chicks to raise and love

Beautiful evening on the empty nest

It is time for me to say so long until next season !

It was a wonderful season on this nest......Ethel and Oscar raised two beautiful healthy chicks .......... I enjoyed posting here every day and watching Ollie and Handel grow and mature into 2 beautiful young Osprey Thanks Carolyn for stopping in from time to time with you comments and for your poems that made me smile .. and thanks Sue and Judy also .. Hugs to all !
