7:19pm.....Someone is on the tower eagles nest.....could be an eaglet as I can't see a white head.

7:22pm.........Who do we have here on the evergreen tree? Not one of our eaglets or even a new fledgling.......this one has a yellow beak and feet and lots of white underfeathers. Maybe a second or third year eagle.

7:25pm........Beautiful young eagle. Wonder if it is one of Ma's and Pa's from the past? Silly to think that as there would have been lots of eaglets raised in this area.

7:48am............As we saw Trooper delivering greenery to the nest this morning I have to think this is him inside the middle tower. We have not seen Ma on cams today and I cannot see a second adult around so Ma may have left. If she doesn't come by tonight I will think she is gone now.

8:17pm.......This adult inside the middle tower is the only adult I've seen tonight. I think it is Trooper. This morning he brought greenery to the nest, which is exactly what he started to do last year when Ma was gone. It sure looks like Ma has started her migration now.............she doesn't seem to be here tonight.

8:25pm......Our adult inside the tower suddenly flew off and one returned 29 seconds later.......I assume it is the same eagle but could not follow its flight. Now on top of the middle tower. Still no sign of a second adult, so this must be the same adult..........Trooper.

Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
9:19pm..........Today, there was no sign of Ma. It is likely she has now begun her migration north towards the easy salmon. Rivers up there are already receiving spawning salmon, free for the taking. Trooper has remained to take care of the nest and watch over the territory. Just as he did last year when he was new here.
Save travels Ma.............eat a lot of salmon, don't worry about a thing..............and return safely to us in the Fall.
Be safe Bella and Coola wherever you are.
Trooper is in the school trees tonight. Wonder how long he will stay now that Ma is gone?
Thanks everyone who continues to watch and post about this nest. Thanks zoomers for your dedication and caring for our eagles.
I am now OFF both cams.
