The last one looks the best, thank you!

Suggestion: (I am working from no knowledge as to how the cam works so I may be asking the impossible and the last view will be fine!)

Do you think the nest would be closer if you swing the cam to the right a bit more (I doubt the chicks will use the trunks on the left -at least for now - too straight) and move it up higher (less of the space under the nest) and move in a bit?

I like the last shot to Judy, we will be able to see them on the tree much better. I'm not able to tell them apart now anyways.. but if anyone wants it different that is ok too. They sure are having more fun now...lol. Such beauties! :D

BETHINB.C. maybe this will help you ID the 'lets!

Note: Ess's tail (on the left) is almost straight across when closed and tail feathers are tipped with white! The white becomes more noticeable when the tail is fanned and not against a grey background

Dees tail feathers are of different lengths while closed and are predominantly black on the tips.

It is not always easy to tell but the more you watch for the differences when it is possible, the easier it becomes to recognize the pattern.

Thanks for your thoughts on the cam, gemini and Beth - I'll try a little tweak in the minute.

And I love the branching made easy video!

2:44 pm
Res in with something, and I think Dee got it - which is fair because Ess got the earlier delivery. Dee is on the right, and even going slowly, I have no clue what it is, but it's fairly small.

And I just watched on the South cam - and it might be bigger than I initially thought.

Another look.

I've tried adjusting the South cam a bit - this is #4 from my previous post, where it's been for the last hour or so:

And this is the new test setting:

We'll be able to see at least the bottom half of them if they sit on the little bump on the trunk on the right - and it's not as close before I started trying things out, but it's closer than a few minutes ago.

Thoughts?

I could zoom in a bit more and move the nest down a bit?

For now, this doesn't have a preset name, but it's the default home position where the cam goes after a reboot, or if you click the Home button in the middle of the directional arrows.

That's great Judy! At least we stand a chance of ID'ing them now! If and when they change where they are branching you can follow as needed!

Thanks, gemini - I suspect they will soon move beyond that - but with luck it will work for a few days. :)

Checking the chicks at 20:44 and there was a little bird flying back and forth ..both Dee and Ess were watching it... so cute.
Has anyone seen any food deliveries today? Hoping someone comes soon :luck:
