Good Morning everyone!

Managed to find a quick drop off by Mom after my third run through on the DVR. (I won't guarantee there aren't more but if there are I couldn't find them!) It was a small fish which Dee claimed!

:vid: Quick drop off by Mom at 6:24 this morning! (1:01)

and a quick visit from Mr squirrel That dark spot on the trunk really is a squirrel>

Around 10:14 am, Sur dropped off a black squirrel, I almost think it may have been road kill. looked a bit like it anyways. Don't know which chick got it but neither looked that hungry. I have been trying to catch more deliveries but unsuccessful :(

.Hey, BETHINB.C., you are doing great! I almost missed it completely! Their visits are so quick!

10:14 am Sur brings in a black squirrel - Dee claims it and Ess takes it away! I don't think either one of them knows what to do with it!

:vid: Hey, what do I do with this!?

Good morning, everyone, and thanks for the updates! Nice video of Mom's visit, gemini - I so happy that she's recovering so well! And I'm glad you caught the delivery where both chicks were fed, Marg - nice to see that they still sometimes are willing to let Mom feed them! Thanks for the weather and the early report, Bev - and thanks, nightowl, for starting our day!

I also saw the squirrel delivery, Beth, and also thought road kill - it appeared a bit on the flat side as the eaglet was moving it around on the nest.

The eaglet with the squirrel is on the right in the picture below, and I think I'm seeing more white on that tail than on the tail of the one on the edge of the nest, so it's my guess that Ess has the food.

I think Dee just grabbed the slightly flat squirrel - it looked as if Ess had gotten some food from it, but was maybe willing to let it go!

North cam is pixelated so I'll reboot in a minute.

Hi again. Judy, that's what I was thinking also, I looked several times and I am sure the poor thing was flat...lol. I couldn't tell who gt the food but sure was having a hard time swallowing the whole thing... little Miss worrywart was seriously wishing the other chick would help him out by grabbing the end...lol. After some time he was able to get tail and all down. That's a lot of food for one bird...lol.

Gemini, thank you as well. I will get it straight one day..lol.

Both eaglets are lying down and calling occasionally. I think Ess is on the left and Dee is on the right - and it's hard to tell, but I think they're about the same length from head to tail, though Ess might be a bit wider (or maybe it's just that Dee is facing into the wind so his/her feathers are sleeker at the moment).

Res just arrived with something, and Ess has it. I'm thinking a small mammal - mouse or rabbit?

This was such fun to watch - Ess is holding the food item while flapping and lifting off a bit - good practice for when s/he brings food to the nest - or flies off with it to avoid an over-interested sibling.

:vid: Dancing With Prey (49 seconds)

I don't think Dee was amused.

This is a longer video - a bit over 2 minutes - but I liked watching Ess leisurely wake up from his/her nap and stretch and loosen up a bit - and it did put her/him in better position to act when Res appeared; I included Res's whole visit even though she didn't move around much.

Great video Judy, and I almost think that was a fish head she brought.. lol.. I had to laugh at how fast it got snatched up by one of the chicks yet he/she wasn't really that hungry.. lol. "First come first serve", "he who pays attention get the prize"...lol. LOve it...lol. :D
