Good evening, Monday :)

I'm pretty sure I just had 2 osprey perch in the top of the tree out back a ways. Seen them around but had the binocs this time & Osprey is my best ID. One was eating.

Had a treat Sat. & Colin flew us for a Father's Day flight in his newly acquired plane. Six seater Cherokee. I was a bit apprehensive but how does a mother say . . . .no, I don't trust you that much. :D

Thirty min. flight to Apalachicola & lunch at a raw bar on the water. Flew back along the coast & then up Wakulla River back. Fun and a birds eye view.
Something I never imagined.

Wish I could post a pic but sadly still have not figured out the pic post thing, size wise I guess.

Hope you guys are well & weather is cooperating. We've had rain every day lately. The right amount, thank goodness.

Hugs all.

:bye 1:

Sounds like a great surprise treat Naoma....isn't it amazing what happened when you moved to Florida? I love hearing your stories.

We had more than a bit of rain here yesterday which blessedly for at least today cooled temps down. My concussion is being annoying, taking its time so the heat makes it worse. A swim helped!

Another fabulous nursing home visit yesterday with lots of smiles and joy. One lady did not like dogs and made it clear, the others around her made it clear otherwise.....and the lady and I agreed that I would take Andi no where near her and that was fair!

Good Night.....

That must have been a fun trip in Colin's plane Naoma. The view must have been spectacular. :)
I've only flown a few times and never in that small a plane but I know I'd be a little apprehensive too. :mihihi:
Cool sighting of the Osprey. Maybe you'll see them joined by some young ones soon.

Sorry you're still having concussion sypmtoms Carolyn. They can take a long time to heal and I know you'll do the right thing. :)
That's too bad one lady didn't want Andi near her at the nursing home. She is missing out on something very special.

Naoma As far as the rain goes, I'm glad I am on the highest peak in northeast Ohio. Everywhere around Chardon is flooded. I do have some water in my basement, but when compared to 15 miles north, east, south , and west, we have it made.

Still showing rain for the next few days.

Love and hugs to all

Hey.

Iona, glad you are high & dry. Hope the same goes for your loved ones.

I read an eaglet was knocked off the Hanover nest. I think it was close to fledge & is reported to be ok.

Take care Carolyn, of yourself as you do for others.

Scott, lucky grandkids of Dr Lynn to grow up around his environment.

Rain again today. Some heavy but off & on.
