Checked again they were sleeping looking around now. I believe someone was moving the cam around.

12:14 pm Went back to 9:00 pm on the DVR and there were no parental visits. Maybe in the early morning? :luck: Kids are sleeping peacefully.

Good morning, everyone! Thanks for the weather, Bev - comfortable now, but does look like another very warm day.

Looking back....

Around 4:22 am both chicks were up and I heard an adult trilling. Unfortunately no one came to the nest.

I'm rebooting the North cam - hopefully that will help with the pixelating.

I think this is Dee doing some nice flap-hopping.

Dee is also doing some calling for food.

Time for my breakfast - I'll be back in a while.

This turn of events is so heartbreaking. If the parents don't return, I hope something can be done to save Dee and Ess.

7:20 A parent came in with a quick food drop! Phew! I don't know the parents well enough to know which parent it was but here is a video!

7:19-7:20 a.m.: Hooray! Thank you for spotting this, Darlene! I don't know which parent it is, but I'm thinking it's Sur (I'm not seeing a limp). I don't know what the piece of food was (it didn't look like a whole animal), and I don't know which eaglet got it.

Thanks Sue. What a relief. I was too busy looking at the parent to see who got what but both babies look like they have a bit of a crop now between the 3 feedings.

7:51-7:52 a.m.: Food drop #2. This prey, whatever it is, looked a bit larger. One of the eaglets is trying to self-feed on it.
