Good morning Maddy, Merianne, Philjo and all Big Bear eagle viewers. Thank you Maddy and Philjo for the nightly reports.

Another sunny hot day for Big Bear.

5:30 am Simba is asleep. Mrs BB is off the exit branch.

5:47 am He's up and turned around.

Simba backed up for a ps. It was small and yellowish.

6:03 am Simba is up and preening. Making a lot of squees this morning. Hoping breakfast arrives soon.

6:09 am Simba is laying down again.

6:26 pm Simba is still resting. No sign of the parents yet. Hopefully soon.

6:44 am Simba is still resting. No parents have arrived back yet.

Need to start getting ready for work. I'll do my best to keep an eye on the nest before I go. Hope all of you have a great day.

7:21 am looks like it's mom preening on the upper branch. Simba is up and looks like he is calling, but there is no sound.(((

7:40 am Shadow is looking around

7:49 am Shadow is back with no food

8:00 am Simba is calling, hopefully one of the parents brings food and hopefully Simba will eat it

8:35 am Shadow is back with no food it looks like

8:48 am Shadow is moving to the exit branch

Simba seems to be standing more now like his parents do. And he is standing now on some of the branches brought in. Which is like good practice for him. He is a beautiful eaglet. He is quite interesting to watch in his advances.
