babyhawk_AEF (Moderator): Woohoo! The Ground Crew was in the right place at the right time tonight. Samson flew in @8:27 pm to the Lumber Yard Tree & perched. Here is a great photo of Samson with his wings spread out a bit as he was cooling off. Nice to "see" you Samson! We are smiling https://www.flickr.com/photos/94664847@ ... datetaken/

gretchen_AEF (Admin): MONDAY TUCK
: We were certain it was Samson as he was flying in and landing on his "landing spot" on the LYT tonight at dusk. If you check the photo posted by babyhawk_AEF above, you can see some branches hanging down. A couple of months ago Ospreys were bringing in sticks and placing them there and obviously starting a nest. Perhaps they were young birds and practicing or they gave up, as it never amounted to much. Works for Samson, though! Maybe he will pay a nest visit early in the morning. SED!

Good Night NEFl, Philjo , Heather and all !

gretchen_AEF (Admin): IR on Cam 3 isn't affective as there is a leaf from a sprouting branch on the tree near the cam that is semi-covering the cam lens. It is affecting our daytime view as well
