Good evening Bev. Wow, that make 3 afternoons and nights in a row Mom has been on the nest and spent the night. She must be very tired and maybe needs to rest her foot. Nice to see her. Goodnight Mom, Bev and all.

No nest activity today except for watching the IR light go off at 6:18:15am, watching little birds flit around, and then seeing the IR light come on in the evening at 9:02:25pm.

D lands on LB 6:10:56am, hops to nest 6:11:20; D flips a little fluff & digs a little dirt 6:12:24; D out BSD 6:14:28;

IR light off 6:18:25am; M can be heard 11:24:55, 11:25:09, & 11:25:21; M flies in the BSD & lands heavily on the nest 11:25:35; while waiting for D, M sits, looks & preens; D in FD w/stick 12:10:12; M rouses12:20:27; D hops onto RB 12:34:29; and out 12:34:42; Flyby behind nest as M watches 12:37:41; D in BSD w/stick 12:37:57; D to RB 12:45:56; D rouses 12:46:38; and out 12:46:55; M still on the nest soaking up the sun 1:12:01, she scratches an itch 1:13:01; two big ol’ crop drops 1:21:34; M up, over LB & out FD 1:30:03; Cam 1 reset 3:30; IR light on 9:04:36pm.

D lands on LB 6:07:30, walks down branch 6:07:54 then steps to nest 6:07:58; moves a small stick 6:08:01; flies out BSD 6:14:07; IR light off 6:15:17; quick fly-by 2:21:39 prior to M coming in over the RB at 2:21:59; M looks wonderful sitting in her nest & then she looks quite regal while she thermoregulates 3:01:39 (she’s just a gorgeous sight for sore eyes!); M out FD 4:17:51; IR light on 9:08:28pm.

D lands on LB 6:10:02, he moves down the LB & onto the nest 6:10:45; D does a little aerating 6:11:24; after digging up a bunch of dirt, he sits & contemplates his day before flying out the BSD 6:16:15; IR light off 6:12:39; Great-crested flycatcher lands on right side 1:50:38, flies to nest 1:50:52, then to back rail 1:50:54, back to nest 1:51:13 & snatches up a feather, to LB with the feather 1:51:14, flies out of view 1:51:30, then comes back still carrying the feather 1:51:44, hops to nest 1:51:59 then back to front branch & rail, flies off with his prize 1:53:03;

D lands on LB 5:55:46am, walks down branch, steps to nest 5:56:00; digs in nest 5:56:35 then looks around; moves a twig 5:57:20 & digs in the fluff; IR light off 6:10:58; D to LB 6:12:42 & out 6:13:05; D flies toward nest 6:13:58 & in BSD w/pinecone & twig in beak 6:14:01; D out BSD 6:15:52;

IR light off 6:11:18am; D in BSD 12:40:35; D fluffs some fluff 12:47:01; after surveying his domain, D lays down 1:02:01, he gets up 1:08:19 to sit and look around some more; D lays back down 1:26:25; D gets up 1:47:03; D can’t make up his mind, he lays back down 2:00:26, but gets up 2:01:59 & surveys the area intently; D hops to RB 2:28:34 & out 2:28:53; M in BSD w/headless fish 2:58:38; she gulps down the tail 3:02:42 & shakes her head several times to get it all the way down; M sits at the back of the nest for the next 45 minutes or so then raises her rings to thermoregulate at 3:50:40; IR light on 9:12:20pm.

D lands on LB 2:57:04, hops to nest 2:57:13; M in FD 3:00:01; M oversees D as he aerates & fluffs; D gives M a beaking as she attempts to fluff some fluff 3:04:16; D to RB 3:05:25 & out 3:05:53; can see D fly-by in background as he approaches nest 3:07:11; D in FD w/stick 3:07:20, which he places on right rail 3:07:37; D out BSD 3:13:16; D in BD 3:17:08; D out BSD 3:21:55; M gets up 4:46:08, preens 5:32:32; Cam reset 5:40; M lays back down 6:01:06; M stands up, using her wings for balance 6:59:51; M preens 7:13:47;
