Hi,
Caught the end of a feeding this AM. The nest is loaded with fish. :thumlft: There is such a visible difference between these two now  . I should get used to that but I am still amazed at how they grow up and become adults.

All seems well this morning. These 2 look like very curious little eaglets.

As large as I know this nest is, it looks small from this angle.

Look small don't they
I really love this tree that this nest is in. It is a beautiful sycamore. :rh: perfect for a nest. When I was young we had a large sycamore with a swing. Memories.

These two are growing up. Very even tempered eaglets.
Not too fond of the camera angle but better than nothing.

They are resting comfortably before their new day begins.
I have seen lots of food on this nest. :thumlft:

Catching up here....

Male E/88 (the younger chick) returned to the nest regularly after his fledge at 6:42 am on June 15, and was still visiting the nest and being fed as of July 14. He has a tracker and was given the name Duke for tracking purposes, and you can follow his travels here.

E/87 appeared to have an accidental fledge - missing a landing while flying to a branch at 7:41 pm on June 16 - and was not seen again; there was a search a few days later, and staff continued to monitor the area. Because E88 continued to visit the nest and be fed there for at least another month, I sadly think E/87 did not survive. The parents might have fed her away from the nest initially, but she wouldn't survive long unless she could fly at least a little - and if she could fly, she would have made her way back to the nest if there was food there. :brknhrt:

Happily E/88 seems to be doing great!
