okay - thank you. I have been watching some other nests also off and on since Feb. this year, esp. since the hatchlings appeared.jwin36 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 4:45 amGood morning everyone,
Quiet and everyone is still asleep as I checked in today.
MJN, the nest is pretty much the same as last year. This nest is huge and very flat compared to some of the other nests I have watched. But, I am new to eagle watching. I asked lots of questions and read all the active forums. The moderators, topic assistants and everyone else are extremely informative, patient and nice. And I would have to say that everyone is still learning.
So, ask away and if you want to watch other nests the links to them are in each forum thread.
You can see what the nest looked like last year if you go back to the beginning of this thread and scroll through.

Hi,
Very good clear cam this morning. So I took a scap of the nest You can see that the edges of the nest ( the rails) are falling apart. I think it is probably fine for the rest of this season but it will definitely need some work for next year.

So glad only 8 feet off ground, plus looks like lots of underbrush to catch a fall.

Hi,
It looks like they cleaned the cam lens. Nice sharp scap of the family.

Hi,
This scap shows what a difference a few days can make in the fluff and feather development. On the left is the youngest and you can see the other two are much darker.

Good afternoon Jwin, MJN, Kitcat and everyone else. I haven't checked on these three for awhile. Amazed at how fast they're growing. I did catch Dad feeding them from earlier.

Good morning everyone.
These eaglets just don't want to pose. So here is another scap of perfectly camouflaged eaglets on a nest. They are being well fed and they sleep and grow a lot. It will be more exciting in a short while when they start wingersizing and fly hopping all over the nest.
This is a nice nest to watch to see them branch. There are so many great branches very close.
Have a nice day everyone and thanks for any comments and scaps.

Good Morning Everyone. I'll be looking forward to them branching, Jwin. I peeked in this morning and seen Mom and Dad both watching over the nest. I do believe those mice were annoying Mom.

It's always enjoyable to watch both parents feeding the kids.

Hi everyone. So nice to see your videos, elaine. I cannot catch these three in closeups. I don't even know if they zoom in anymore. I haven't seen that in the past few days.
But even at a distance these three make a cute cuddle of eaglets. They are still growing and getting more and more feathers.

Good Morning Everyone, Oh gosh Jwin, they were so funny to watch this morning. Especially that little one. I have no idea how he gulped the rest of that fish down.

Hi, elaine, MJN, and everyone else.
Nice feeding again. Everyone got food. Eaglets are doing limited self feeding. The 2 older ones look much darker than #3. But that is to be expected.
A nice holiday to everyone.

Hi again. Do you remember how many days after #2 was #3 born?
I am thinking he/she is extra slow catching up. with dark feathers besides that fact, like a premature baby, perhaps because other 2 hogged almost all the feedings at first?
Also I think I read somewhere that parent names are Cruz and Spirit. Is that right? MJN (Marti)
