Hi again - I don't know if there has a been a switch in adults or not...but the adult incubating the eggs got up and flew off at 10:13am

Then an adult flew in at 10:16am

Thought I saw a little egg roll, but when I looked back on the tape saw that the adult just settled on the eggs...

12:28 pm Thanks for the scaps, Yolande and Bev! You got it Bev! That was Sur leaving and Res arriving at 10:13 and 10:16 respectively. There have been a couple of egg rolls since. Only one revealed the eggs.

A glimpse of one egg at 12:32 pm (don't think that's a pip but you never know for sure with all the bits of material that sticks to the eggs. (click bigger for a closer look)

Res has been preening.

This is one of the points we use to ID female Res - the white feathers seem to come right up to her eye. I don't know what's happening with Sur's eyes from a biological standpoint - but looking at them, they look to me as if he has some skin around them without feathers.

I'll be around for another 30-40 minutes but need to unpack and stuff - then am out for the evening.

There are some pictures of Sur's eyes from a few days ago here - viewtopic.php?f=114&t=333&start=1950#p176738
