Iris just sitting on nest viewing her kingdom. The nest looks great as we all have commented.

The nest is currently empty. That being said, Louis did bring Iris a big fish and she gladly took it. Also the amazing photographer who was around last year took some good pictures, one in nest and one in flight.

Dr. Greene wrote a good Facebook post about the nest and how privileged we are to view it. And to remember that it is not a Disney movie so do not count on happy endings (as we well know).

Thank you Bev and Carolyn. Looks like Iris spent quite a bit of her time on the FB today. Is this what she did last year up until laying eggs? Iris left the FB @ 9:18 pm close to same time as last night , interesting. A scap of her on the FB and another of her leaving

I read what Dr Greene wrote and he says Iris is one of the oldest known Ospreys in the world .WOW!

So i checked back on dvr and Iris was in and out with material for the nest
Iris leaving 8:34 am

Iris left and was back with more sticks 9:02 am
