Evening Sauces, Marianne :bye 1:
All is going well so far at the Sauces nest; adults continue to take turns incubating their only egg.

840 pm
Mom is incubating; she has tucked herself in ... snug as a bug
sleeping.

Ho Debs; glad Mom and Dad Sauces have at least one egg; at least no bonking this season. Last year was rough to watch at times.

Hi jwin. Three eggs were laid Feb. 5, 8 and 11 but 2 broke on the 11th. Assuming this is egg 3, hatch should be around March 18-22.Pip watch soon😊

So happy for our Sauces pair

A hatch is underway at Sauces ... should see a new baby here soon.
Movement was seen in the egg and part of the top layer of the egg shell is gone.

Earlier Mom's talon was right in the hole but all appears well ...the hatch is progressing nicely.

The egg is not a clean break like we mostly see so there is a risk some of the shell may stick to the chick.

1125 pm
Hatch is not yet complete; not sure what is holding the egg together :mihihi:
Hopefully the chick breaks free from its shell soon with no shell sticking ... talons crossed.

Good Afternoon Debs, join and all watching this nest. Congratulations to A40 and A48 on the birth of their new baby. I'm not sure what the numerical name is. Mom is so warm and just standing watching an exhausted baby while it rests. I did see it move quite a few times so all looks good. Rolled the DVR back to see when Dad came in with this yummy placenta.
