Are these two on schedule for eggs yet this year? I haven't been around since the White Rock nest fledged 3, then fell later. "Tink" was the runt that made it against all odds.

Hi Sue, WR never had three eggs , you are thinking of the Sidney nest back in 2009 -10 I believe , Mom is due to lay anytime , we have not had eggs for two years now , she was hurt in fight last year ,
[/quote]
Yes! Sidney. I guess without Sidney listed anymore, I remembered the name WR. My bad!

Amyklai and Sue_Wis,
Just to clarify, the Sidney nest where "Tink" was raised and the nest where the red Tailed Hawk was raised are two different nests. They are both in Sidney and both overlook a bay so can understandably be mixed up.
The original Sidney nest where "Tink" was raised overlooks Patricia Bay and was known as the Sidney nest. The nest where the Red-tailed hawk was raised overlooks Roberts Bay and is known as the Robert's Bay nest.
Here are the links to that infamous season if you want to read about them:

10:09a.-10:14a.
Dad arrives on nest with a small stick.
Mom on OT.
Side branch then flew off while scapping
10:14am and back with another much larger stick.
Struggles with sticks.
big Y shaped stick gets caught around trunk and then goes overboard but hung up on side.

Mom on OT has been calling softly since I logged in.
She flies off OT to land on nest and Dad hops into nest from side branch just before she arrived.
Digging in bowl and moving grasses.
