Thanks Iona: Keiko is a lady :) She is the bestest dog! Smart and good natured. Being a herding dog, she is so cute when we got for a hike. She likes to lead the way but she periodically checks to make sure everyone is okay especially when some lag behind. One of the fellows we were with has Parkinson's and he had difficulty keeping up at times and she would always check on him when she didn't readily see him.

:D elle @ where we stayed pics.

Truth be known, I'd be willing to camp at the first pic. :mihihi:

Keiko is the dog of dogs. :thumlft:
When Z and I walk thru Ferrel roads, Mike normally drives way ahead as he's not a walker. Zbo is between us and if I get out of sight around a bend I notice him waiting around the curve till I'm in sight again.
:)

Iona, at one time I feel nature knows no mercy. Naturally so, my mind says. Then there are times when she shows us great joy and my heart rejoices in the fine balance of it. :rh:

Scott, I love Dr. Lynn's walk down memory lane updates. They are a heartfelt window to his past. It makes me think of all such people who have contributed to nature & the world that we don't know.

Good evening wishes all

:bye 1:

Where We Stayed

Quiet, peaceful, and on the water,
resting, eating, chatting and walking.....

Ramshackle or beautiful does it matter?
Places away in our hearts with waves abounding.

Run dog run, play in the sand,
memories made here washed away in the strand.

Time away, celebrating our lives,
resting, quiet, a balance happens and life is good.
carolyn

I loved Dr. Lynn's memories. Iona, sad about the Berry College eaglet, we just have to watch in wonder,
never really knowing why?
I have written several poems for them there.

Good Morning All,

Glad you had such fun Elle, and Keiko sounds like a wonderful companion.

Scott - always amazes me how Dr Lynn gets the animals to trust and come up for food. I've tried before and not been able too, guess it is mostly because of consistency - can't always be in the same place at the same time with the food. Still Dr Lynn has a real touch with animals.

Going to a concert this weekend - a folk Scottish/Irish band - really looking forward to it.

Hugs all around, :grhug:

Hi'ya all.....

Scott, love the report today....fortunately Judy let Dr. Lynn go off to capture those great stories for us!

Pat, you and Erik do have great fun together....I think I mispelled his name again?

Naoma, agree on all you say, except prefer the second abode that Lynda showed. :)
Have a happy,
carolyn

Bleu is 12 today!!!!!!!!! Goldens are not noted for long lives so this is wonderful.

Bleu says thanks to all of you....She has had a good day, biscuits, walks, and lots of love, including a visit from my daughter and two of her children. My daughter had a golden who was the brother of Bleu by the next litter and he passed at 9 so Catherine needed to give Bleu a big birthday hug and remember her Gus. She is grateful Bleu is doing well at this age. Bleu had some serious play time with Andi too due to the cool weather that came back.

Oh my! Happy Birthday Sweet Bleu. We all love you! :gdog:

Today is also the 33rd anniversary of the year we took possession of our house. She was an old lady then and is even older now but she serves us well. :thumlft: We take good care of her.

Youtube keeps changing :%: I have a very short video of my Turk that I shot sideways and I cannot figure out how to turn it around now with the the constant changes. Anyhoo...... you will get the gist.

Dr. Rogers finds a way to get the animals he comes across to trust him and that's amazing to me too Pat. Seeing the same ones regularly would be an advantage. :)

Happy Birthday Bleu. I hope she stays healthy and happy for a long time Carolyn. :)
It sounds like she had lots of lovin' on her big day.

Cute vid of Turk chasing the laser dot elle. :mihihi:
There used to be an easy way to rotate YouTube videos but for some unexplained reason they removed it in 2018.
