6:57 pm Sur and Res come to the nest for leftovers.

5:14 pm South Cam
:vid: Sur gets to the leftovers first and doesn't give it up! (3:45)

That must have been a pretty big prey whatever it was - Res had it for dinner last night and Sur munched on it for lunch and dinner today!

Good morning, everyone. I logged into the North cam, and with the wind, the signal from the cam itself is choppy. I'm reluctant to try rebooting it, and I'm pretty sure we'd lose the embedded signal fairly quickly since the cam itself isn't able to produce a stable outgoing stream. I'll have the South embedded cam up, and will try to log into the North cam to take screenshots if we have a visit (and other zoomers are welcome to log in as well if that happens).

I know the prey had feathers, but didn't see enough to identify it. I didn't see anything else brought in - and agree that they have gotten more meals than I would have expected from it - though it probably was slow going once the meat was frozen.

8:09 am
There are snowflakes blowing around - not snowing heavily at this time, but definitely snowing.

8:13 am
Thanks, South zoomer - definitely a snowy landscape.

The snow looks deeper than I had realized.

9:50 am checked back to 7:48 am - no eagle visits. The snow continues on a sporadic basis.

10:47 am
I checked back to 8:48 am and didn't see any visits.

The wind seems to have let up some, so I rebooted North - we'll see if it will continue to stream.

1:06 pm
I think Ken may have rebooted the cams - both were off briefly, and they don't go back very far. I have had them up, and I haven't seen anyone, but they've both had some spinning circles. I did check back to 12:45 pm (as far as it goes), and had checked at least once before but forgot to post when. No signs of a visit in the snow.

We have a visitor!

North is pixelating badly for me - and I can't see the neckline on South when they keep looking away from the cam!

Maybe Sur's light feathers?

And whoever it was, they flew off at 3:20 pm, away from the cam while watching on South, and pixelated on North.

Well, I was just getting ready to post that there had been no activity since my last post, when an eagle landed.

And a moment later, a second one landed!

So now I don't have to try to figure out who is who because they are both there! :)

North was pixelating badly, so I rebooted it in the hopes that others could get some of the visit on the dvr.

Sur on the right (feathers sticking down below the neckline)

Res on the left (tuft of feathers or something making spot on the head)

And dinner is ready - sorry, and bye!

Thanks so much for the videos, gemini - loved seeing one of them move the stick and the other carefully move it back where it was!
