Flew off nest side branch to land in tree west from nest.

5:38pm - another look - not Mom or Dad, but this eagle may have been at the nest before

5:42pm - 2 eagles flew toward south roost tree area (North cam)

Hi Lynne, I checked with S cam and no eagles in south bluff trees or any tree to the south.

7:07am - eagle flew to lower, outer perch tree
7:21am - still there as cam switches to color, then hard to detect - blends in with tree

7:36am - eagle flew from lower perch
then a second eagle followed off to lower right

7:50am - eagle flying southbound close to shore

8:14am - Dad and Mom onto the nest, trilled warnings (?)

8:20am - female in the nest, male at rail left
8:21am - both flew off (spots at base of tail - female/Mom)

eagle arrives on nest.
soon moved to N side branch.
close ups. Sporting the large V shaped colouration on top of head.

9:38am flew off while posting

looked like coloration on top of head was there yesterday afternoon, albeit hard to see: look at scap Feb 9 at 5:08pm
9:38am - fly off

agree same colouration as recent views. Going to check around with S cam.
10am. Southern neighbour is "home"
