Valor 2 & Starr were on the nest at about 2:25. My laptop is not wanting to do screencaps right now. Starr left at 2:31 & flew across the water to land in a tree. Valor 2 left at 2:37. They seemed to be just surveying their territory from the nest. My laptop froze up when the first one landed, so did miss 2 or 3 minutes.
It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

2:55 pm caught Starr landing in the nest with some food. What I saw but didn't capture was what looked like a juvie following her in. It quickly left or was chased away by another adult. It certainly landed right in the middle of Starr's big old fish food.

3:18 pm Starr continued to eat and occasionally see an eagle flying around the water area.

I got a message from eagle007 (we post her videos here sometimes). She said a juvie did chase Starr to the nest. She is not sure if she captured it. Of course that was when I was restarting my laptop, because it was freezing up every time I wanted to record. I will post it here, if she got the video. I kept hearing what I thought was last year's eaglet earlier.

3:37 pm I had to leave school with Starr still on the nest just watching. When I got home and tuned in, found Starr and Valor 2 on the nest.

Big thanks, Catspairadice. I thought I saw a juvie following her to the nest. Oh it would be nice to think Orion is still hanging around. Smiles Hope she captured it so we can see!

Then at 3:58 pm the cam began to move and ended up facing the river. Now, it looks like there are two eagles in this tree. Someone maybe can verify what I am seeing or not seeing.

4:20 pm hearing beautiful eagle chatter. Update from the Stewards. This area is called the Backwaters. The river is what we see on the migration cam. Good to know as I have always referred to the water as the river.
